Featured Content Slider
Easliy add posts or/and pages to the content slider on the home page with a custom field called slider. The image in the slider can be linked to the post/page or open an image or evem a video (Vimeo/Youtube) in a lightbox.
Cutomizable Home Page
The home page content is up to you. It can be widgets (like the custom Features Box widgets in this case) or recent posts. You can display any static page or a list of pages (like product page).
4 Color Schemes
deVision comes with 4 different color schemes. Please choose your preferred color between red, green, blue and grey. You can optionally display a jQuery style switcher on the front end to let your visitor select their color scheme.
Button Shortcode
To create buttons like you see in the header section or the read more button in the blog section you can use the deVision button shortcodes with a number of options.
Post Thumbnails
Of course deVision support the new WordPress post thumbnail feature. In addition you can select between 3 thumbnail sizes for each post (small, medium, large) with one simple click.
Advanced Widget Support
The home page, the sidebar and the footer are easy-customizable through widgets. The sidebar and the footer are nested widgets areas. You can create sub widget areas for home page, category pages, single posts and static pages.
Customizable Image Ribbon
Add your custom image ribbon to the post thumbnail of any page using a custom field named ribbon with your ribbon text as the value of this custom field.
deVision Image Gallery
The deVision theme makes it dead easy to add an image gallery to your post or page entry without any plugin. The gallery thumbnails will be linked to the full size view that opens up in a neat lightbox.
jQuery Lightbox
deVision comes with a built-in jQuery lightbox plugin to nicely showcase your images or even videos. All you have to do is add the rel="prettyPhoto" to the link that you want to open in the lightbox.
