jQuery Image Slider

The jQuery image slider allows you to professionally showcase your featured content as an eye catcher on the home page.

Slider Options

On the theme settings page you can set the slider options. Select your preferred slider effect (fade, fold, sliceDown, sliceDownLeft, sliceUp, sliceUpLeft, sliceUpDown, sliceUpDownLeft, random) and the seconds of the auto slide or turn off automatic transitions.

You can also unlink the images and remove the captions. Find more info below.

Slider Entries

Adding entries to the slider is easy. You can add posts and/or pages by creating a custom field called slider (value 1).

Slider Image

After adding an entry (post or page) to the slider the Featured Image and the title of that entry will be displayed by default. If you prefer a custom slider image (other than the featured image), you can create a custom field called slider_image (value URL).

Slider Links

You can decide to globally remove the slider links on the theme options page or an a post-by-post basis creating a custom field called slider_nolink (value 1). If you prefer a custom link, add a custom field called slider_link (value URL).

Slider Captions

You can decide to globally hide the slider captions (post / page titles) on the theme options page or an a post-by-post basis creating a custom field called slider_nocaption (value 1).
