Image Gallery

An essential feature of a portfolio theme is a quality image gallery with a jQuery lightbox to present your work in a professional way. deLucide handles this task with ease.

Upload Images

To add images to the deLucide image gallery you simply need to upload your image files with the WordPress media uploader on the post or page edit screen. Batch upload (multiple files at once) is also possible.

Create Custom Field

The uploaded files are now attached to the post (or page). Now create a custom field called attachments with a value of 1 and deLucide will automatically display the image gallery after the post content.

jQuery Lightbox

All the image files will be resized and cropped during upload to match the theme dimensions. A click on the thumbnails will open a jQuery lightbox with the full size view of the corresponding image.

Gallery Title

The default title of the deLucide image gallery is Gallery. Create a custom field named gallery_title with your preferred gallery title in the value field.

Special Tip!

If you don’t want the featured image (main post thumbnail) to be displayed in the post image gallery, don’t attach it to the post and upload it on WP-Admin > Media > Add New.
