Custom Widgets

Like all the other ThemeShift themes deLucide comes with some custom widgets especially created for the theme’s purpose. You’ll find Social Links, Twitter, Flickr widgets and many more.

deLucide Widgets

deLucide includes a lot of handy custom widgets. Besides the WordPress default ones the theme supports the following widgets:

  • deLucide Social Links (buttons -> see top left)
  • deLucide About (about section with optional avatar and more link)
  • deLucide Comments (extended recent comments widget)
  • deLucide Flickr (Flickr foto stream -> links open in lightbox)
  • deLucide Twitter (recent tweets widget)
  • deLucide News (extended recent posts widget)

Nested Widget Sidebars

To be more flexible with the sidebar content deLucide lets you define a general sidebar and also nested sidebars for the home page, archives, single posts and static pages.
