The deFolio home page is fully customizable. Display recent posts, a static front page or drag&drop your perferred WordPress default and deFolio custom widgets.
You have the following options to display content on the home page.
1. Widgets
Just drag&drop WordPress default and deFolio custom widgets on the home page widget area on WP-Admin > Appearance > Widgets. Here is a possible expample of a widgetized home page (this is just one of many options with home page widgets):
2. Recent Posts
By default the home page will display the latest entries of your site. You can select the box width (1/4, 2/4, 3/4, 4/4) and whether or not to display a sidebar.
3. Static Page
Of course you can also use the WordPress static front page feature.
