Video Post Type

Video content on news pages becomes more and more important. With the deFacto theme you can manage your videos separately from posts and add them to the different widget areas of the theme using the Video Teaser widget.

deFacto makes use of a handy function that is supported by WordPress. With oEmbed you can easily embed videos by just posting the URL of the video page. Quite a few important videos services offer oEmbed support (see WordPress codex).

Of course the video settings also offer you different page layouts (left sidebar, right sidebar, no sidebar).

For videos from sites that do not support oEmbed please paste the HTML embed code into the editor and add a featured image for video previews on home and archive pages.
